Join Chef Leta at Portland Cookshop for a hands-on experience of mixing, rolling, shaping, and eating delicious handmade pasta! Pasta Classes dive into the exploration of the handmade pasta traditions of Italy, with a focus on local ingredients, high quality flour, and a nod to the preservation of traditional methods and techniques with creative and modern twists. Offerings include family classes, lasagna and hand-formed classes, and seasonal offerings including rainbow, filled, and laminated pasta. Classes cover everything from the mixing of dough to shaping, storing, and cooking pasta. Guests will be treated to a generous pasta sample prepared by Chef Leta paired with a seasonal sauce. Participants will depart with their own freshly made pasta to prepare at home, as well as dough and sauce recipes from the workshop. |
